Gary Cameron is a Glasgow based Composer, Sound Designer and Facilitator.

A highly skilled and experienced Musical Director and Composer, I have been working freelance since 2010 with some of the best and most highly regarded theatre companies in the country. I am committed to making performances of the highest quality and have held a life long passion for music in theatre. I am passionate about collaborating with artists and creating theatre of the highest quality for adults and children alike. You can see my credits on the CV page.

Throughout my career I have been drawn to creating work with young people. Developing artists of the future through community outreach programmes and productions has been a staple point of my working life. I have been lucky enough to teach and facilitate nationwide, encouraging creativity in young people and vulnerable groups.

I believe that the creative process of a production and the imagination that is required to bring performances to life is just as important as the finished product itself. My experiences in my career have allowed me to gain the experience and skills needed to excel in this industry but it is my enthusiasm, work ethic and creativity that put me among the best in my field.

In addition to my work in Sound Design and Composition I am a Choir Director and Workshop Practitioner. I have worked extensively in this capacity with Scottish Youth Theatre, National Theatre Of Scotland, Dundee Rep and New Diorama. I am the Choir Director for the Edinburgh Playhouse Choir and an Engagement Artist with Capital Theatres.
